Chilled Water System Distribution Expansion To Central Business District & Roosevelt Hotel

Project Scope

Constructed one 12’ x 24’ water tight sheet pile shaft 27’ deep. Constructed one 14’ diameter liner plate shaft 27’ deep. Install 240’ of 16” fusion bonded epoxy coated welded steel chilled water line in 120’ of 48” x 48” Boxwood tunnel. Install 1920’ of 30” fusion bonded epoxy coated welded steel chilled water line in 960’ of 80” diameter ring steel and wood lagging tunnel. Installed 600’ of 16” welded steel pre-insulated chilled water line in open cut trench. Installed 400’ of 30” welded steel pre-insulated chilled water line in open cut trench. Installed one 10’ diameter precast concrete valve vault 27’ deep. Installed valves and appurtenances. Installed 3200’ of 4” ducts for fiber optic line in open cut trench and tunnel. Installed 400’ of 16” welded steel insulated chilled water line in basement on fabricated steel pipe supports.
