Project Scope

Houston’s 35-year old Almeda Sims WWTP Influent Pump Station flooded and required emergency repairs. Additional work was needed to provide long-term stability including replacing suction valves and piping, rebuilding pumps, constructing a proprietary design 20-foot diameter permanent PVC lined bypass chamber 50’ deep over the existing 84” sewer to allow access to the wet well. Also included was the Grouted-In-Place-Lining of an 84” connecting sewer, junction chamber, and gate operating chamber.
