Project Scope

Installation of two variable frequency drives with housekeeping pads including all applicable electrical and instrumentation conduits and wiring to connect pumps and VFDs to the electrical system located at two separate facilities owned and operated by The Gulf Coast Water Authority. The scope of work included pulling, testing and terminating 5kV medium voltage cable to feed multiple MV motors located at the GCWA Industrial Pump Station.  The control valves, instrumentation and local control stations were also installed by Boyer, Inc. The Clearwell Pump Station scope of work consisted of installing the (2) VFDs and all raceway and cable routing to the newly installed lift station pumps. Boyer also constructed the local control station and instrumentation for the (2) additional pumps. Boyer worked closely with plant operations within both facilities to construct this project safely with minimal downtime.
