Project Scope

The project consists of the construction of the Northgate Regional Pump Station (RPS) with a firm capacity of 37 MGD, a wet pit/dry pit configuration, and 24-inch/30-inch dual force mains to discharge to a 54-inch gravity interceptor being constructed under separate projects. 

As a subcontractor to Peltier Brothers Construction, Boyer installed a new electrical service consisting of a 34.5 kV to 480/277-volt, 3-phase pad-mount transformer; a 2,500-amp motor control center; two 600-amp MCCs; a mobile generator bus connection cabinet; panel boards; and lift station control panels and pumps. These were complete with radar level indicators, backup float level control, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and instrumentation, inclusive of startup and acceptance testing.?
