MLS & DTB Diesel Standby Generators

Project Scope

Installation of two owner-provided 600 KW diesel standby generators. The scope of work included site preparation and the construction of two (2) 26’x 18’x 2’ concrete foundations for placement of the generators. New conduit duct banks and two (2) 1600 Manual Transfer Switches (MTS) were installed. A 316SS custom enclosure was fitted and utilized as a wire way from the existing transformer to the new MTS. Installation of twelve (12) 4” aluminum rigid conduits from the new enclosure to the existing Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). To minimize operational downtime a temporary generator provided continuous electrical service until the new system was fully online and field-tested. Fabrication and Installation of four (4) raised platforms to include field mounted service lighting and convenience receptacles along the railings.
