Project Scope

This project consisted of rehabilitation of 700 LF of semi-elliptical sanitary sewer. The existing cast-in-place sanitary sewer was built in 1930’s being 90 years old. The scope of work included installation of temporary bulkheads, hydro blasting with 6000-10,000 psi water pressure, installation of rebar, installation of Danby PVC Liner and grouting with 5000 psi Structural Grout. The access to the sewer was through an existing sluice gate chamber and 4 ft. diameter manhole approximately 50 ft. deep.
