Project Scope

Boyer performed as a Sub-Contractor to Itron Inc. for the Installation of thirty-seven (37) new Connected Grid Router “CGR” sites for the City of Pearland, to include mobilization, excavation, installation of 55-foot Type II concrete poles, CGR units, 5 dBi antennas, grounding systems, electrical power, and associated above- and below-ground conduit infrastructure. Work included antenna mounting, coax and power cabling, grounding and lightning protection, installation of new electrical services, meters, panels, breakers and electrical connections to new and existing power, fabrication and installation of site-specific mounting arms and light fixtures for roadway lighting, complete with full termination and testing of all systems. Boyer coordinated with CenterPoint Energy, City of Pearland permitting and inspections, traffic control, and utility locates, and ensured all work complied with applicable standards and codes. Complete as-built documentation was provided for each site, including serial numbers, antenna heights, GPS coordinates, and photographic records, with all drawings, reports, and site data finalized and delivered.
