Installation of ETI-Sodium Hypochlorite System

Project Scope

This project entailed a design build approach requiring extensive planning and coordination with the sodium hypochlorite bleach plant manufacturer (ETI) and the owner AOS Treatment Solutions to design, furnish and install all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems for the owner supplied sodium hypochlorite Bleach Plant. Work included functional drain and vent systems, chilled water, air, and domestic water piping, interconnections, and instrumentation per manufacturer specifications. Electrical scope inclusive of medium and low voltage Transformers, MCCs, MCPs, UPS, harmonic filters, feeders, panel boards, disconnects, conduit, wiring, cable trays, and terminations, as well as 35kV primary service with pad-mount transformer, elevated structural platform to exceed flood plain elevations. Mechanical scope included installation of chillers, air compressors, chemical tank piping, brine tanks, copper piping, valves. All work included supports, mounting hardware, testing, terminations, startup assistance, and commissioning, ensuring a fully functional, code-compliant, and operational facility in coordination with ETI and the Owner.
