Project Scope

This force main manhole was located in a residential driveway. Liner plate was installed while the crew hand excavated to a depth of 19.5 VF removing all remnants of the existing manhole, then a new 18” base was poured. An internal by-pass was installed to minimize the disruption to the neighborhood and neighboring homes. Approx. 120 LF of the 18” downstream line was rehabbed using CIPP method. The manhole was reinforced with double mat of #5 rebar in a 1’ thick walls, Danby PVC liner was installed to provide corrosion resistant pouring the walls with a 5000 psi (min 28 day) concrete mix design that gave a 6’ ID cast-in-place manhole. The manhole lid was also Danby PVC lined. An HPE internal force main drop was fabricated and installed. The resident driveway was fully replaced as well as part of the adjoining sidewalk.
