Eastwater Purification Plant Transformer Replacement

Project Scope

Installation of the 22.4 MVA (3,126 Amps) 138kV primary to 4.16kV secondary transformer.  This project entailed the procurement and installation of one 22.4MVA 138kV to 4.16kV Sub-Station Transformer including the onsite assembly of Radiators, Fans, HV and LV Bushings. The filling and moisture processing of approximately 7,000 gallons of Type II Mineral Oil. Custom fabrication of Cable Support System and Cable Buss Terminations into the existing 5000Amp Buss Duct connection to the HSPS Plant 3, 4.16KV Electrical Switchgear. Complete commissioning and functionality testing to include the Engineering and Programming of Relay Protection Settings.
