Project Scope

Installation of 5,457 LF of 42” Sanitary Sewer approximately 30’ deep by Micro Tunneling method, installation of new pumps, piping, valves, electrical, SCADA, and security in a new lift station, abandonment approximately 8,000 LF of force mains and sanitary sewers ranging from 20” to 48” in diameter, demolishing Kirkwood #3 lift station and paving in the areas where shafts were located and installation of 6’ diameter manholes.

The biggest challenge on this project was its location in a very high-profile neighborhood located on Carriage Hill Drive and coordination with the residents was extremely important as their daily lives were impacted by this project. Throughout the construction, residents were kept in the communication loop and any issues, big or small, were resolved immediately. These efforts by Boyer’s Superintendent and Foreman were noted by a commendation letter from the community.
