Project Scope

The City of Houston issued an Emergency Purchase Order to repair a new 42-inch Hobas Pipe sanitary sewer that was damaged by a subdivision contractor during connection to a manhole. Boyer’s work consisted of excavating a 20’ diameter liner plate shaft to a depth of 40’. Work included the removal of the service manhole installed by the subdivision contractor, supporting the existing access manhole, and exposing the damaged Hobas Pipe. The damaged section was removed, and Boyer installed a new 42-inch Hobas Pipe with stainless steel couplings, followed by the installation of a new service manhole and backfill of the liner plate shaft, with the site and street fully restored to their original condition.
