Project Scope

Installation of approximately 6,500 LF of 15”-36” gravity sanitary sewer lines via Guided Boring Machine tunnel method; installation of approximately 8,000 LF of 24” force main sanitary sewer line by horizontal directional drilling; installation and operation of diversion pumping, construction of abandonment and demolition of existing Kirby No. 1 Lift Station; construction of 24’ I.D., 65’ deep, 10-MGD Westridge Regional Lift Station; abandonment and demolition of existing Westridge Lift Station; abandonment and demolition of existing Main Street Lift Station; and site restoration. Petroleum-contaminated soil caused by oil and gas was encountered during shaft and tunnel excavation that required separate tunneling, excavation, hauling, and disposal plans to be developed by Boyer.
