Project Scope

This project consisted of the replacement of the generators and related electrical equipment at 69th Street WWTP Substation.  The improvements included electrical demolition of all electrical equipment, conduit and wiring; replacement of two (2) 138kV, 25 MVA liquid-filled Voltage transformers, installation of two (2) 12.47kV capacitor banks plus disconnect switches, wiring and accessories; replacement of line and bus relaying, and replacement of 138kV air switches.  The existing capacitor bank and disconnect switch equipment pads were demolished and replaced with new pads to support the new equipment.  Project also included installation of a new storm drainage system.
