Project Scope
Coordinated with GCWA and CenterPoint Energy to ensure properly planned shutdowns, limited to four consecutive days, while maintaining temporary power for house and sump pumps. The existing CPE 2400/1380 Volt 3 Phase Distribution System included installation of new MV pole with a 3P/1200Amp/25KV side break ground operated air switch and LV service pole, underground duct banks, conduits, pull boxes, service risers, disconnects, lighting panel, well pump control panel, and associated wiring which included 500 MCM 5KV Wire and Termination Kits. The project upgraded the existing 37.5kVA transformer to a new 75kVA pole-mounted transformer with primary fusing and surge protection. Additional scope included installation of a 400A and 60A NEMA 4X disconnects, new service racks, feeder breakers, and integration with the existing ATS. Overhead power and fiber optic lines were removed and replaced with underground systems.
